Public Access Defibrillation
St John Ambulance Australia's Project HeartStart aims to promote the importance of resuscitation training and make Public Access Defibrillation (PAD) possible. PAD programs make early defibrillation available; defibrillators are simple to use machines that shock the heart back into rhythm after a casualty experiences sudden cardiac arrest.

Visit the Project HeartStart Australia website to view a list of sites of Automated External Defibrillators and find out more about the project.
