The Australian Resuscitation Council ALS courses may be eligible for Continuing Professional Development hours for both course candidates and faculty.

RACGP
The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) has pre-approved the following Australian Resuscitation Council ALS courses:
- Advanced Life Support Level 1 (ALS1)
- Advanced Life Support Level 2 (ALS2)
- ALS2 Recertification Course
Please complete the below form to enable the Australian Resuscitation Council to confirm RACGP fellow and trainee attendance at ALS Courses.

ANZCA
Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA)
The Australian Resuscitation Council ALS courses are listed on a password protected section of the ANZCA website for members to view.
A full ALS 1 or ALS 2 course by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) will cover the cardiac arrest activity from the emergency responses category. To claim these activities within the CPD portfolio please use the following recognition codes:
- ARC cardiac arrest recognition code: ER-19-CA-877
Participants in the ANZCA CPD Program may claim this Cardiac arrest course as an emergency response activity in their CPD portfolio.
This recognition code is valid until June 30th 2027.
