This Guideline focuses on in-hospital resuscitation and provides a sequential approach to resuscitation in the deteriorating patient, in addition to background information on basic life support (BLS) and advanced life support (ALS), appropriate for the in-hospital environment. It should be read in conjunction with BLS, ALS and Paediatric guidelines.
